About

I am a third generation teacher, who tried broadcasting first.  I pride myself on the fact that I try new things and I’m more than willing to learn from my students.

This year I am working in the “district office” as one of four Instructional Technology Specialists in a district with around 1,500 teachers.  I have taught first, third and fourth grades, I’ve been an instructional technology teacher leader, a webmaster, a certified Microsoft Class Server expert, guitarist, dancer, announcer and all around community guy.

Since 2003 I have participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program.  My friends and family have raised over $35,000 to improve the lives of patients dealing with Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma and non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  I have participated in the 2003 Chicago Triathlon, 2004 King’s Trail Triathlon on Maui, the 2005 Mayor’s Midnight Sun Marathon in Anchorage, Alaska, the 2006 America’s Most Beautiful (100 Mile) Bike Ride around Lake Tahoe, 2006 Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic and the 2007 San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon.  On May 4th I will particpate in the BMO Vancouver Half Marathon.

I have an amazing wife and three beautiful children.  My oldest is seven, my middle is 4 and my youngest was born on December 2, 2007!

I sing in my church worship team and run sound on occasion and it’s a wonder I get any sleep at all!! :)
